Air-Fryer Roasted Pecans
Roasted pecans are delicious in baked goods, salads, or as a snack. Learn how to use an air fryer to make roasted pecans in under 10 minutes!
Ingredients
Pecans
This recipe is intended for pecan halves. If a recipe requires chopped roasted pecans, chop them after roasting.
Add-Ins (optional)
- Salt (and pepper): Use about ½ tsp of salt (and ¼ tsp of ground black pepper) per cup of nuts, but adjust based on taste. Toss the seeds in about 1 tsp of oil per cup of seeds to stick on the salt and pepper. You may need to alter cooking time if you add oil before roasting: start with less time and add more as needed in small increments.
- Candied: Heat up sugar in a pan over low heat until it melts, stirring so no spots burn. Pour in the roasted nuts and stir to coat each one with sugar, then spread them on a sheet of parchment to cool. - Spiced: Add your favorite spice blends, using the salt & pepper method for savory flavors and the candied method for sweet flavors, adding the spices to the sugar along with the nuts.

2 cups (240g) raw pecan halves
Directions
- Spread pecans evenly in an air fryer basket and cook for 6 minutes at 300°F/150 °C.
- After 6 minutes, check to see if the pecans are roasted to your liking. If they are too raw, return them to the air fryer, adding on 1-2 minutes as needed. Be careful, though, pecans burn quickly!
- Remove the pecans when they are done and spread them out on a tray to cool immediately.
- Enjoy as a snack or use in a recipe!
